Programs and Events
Overview of Our Programs and Events

As a family-oriented Christian church, our schedule provides many opportunities for our members to gather together during the week. The following is a brief overview of the various programs and events that take place at Grants Pass Community Church.

Weekly Services

Our regularly scheduled services are Sunday, at 9:30 a.m., and Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. During these times, we assemble to express our love for our heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit, and our Lord Jesus Christ through lively and reverent worship, the teaching of the Word of God, prayer, and fellowship.

Children's Church

It is important to us that we raise our children to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a foundation in the Holy Scriptures. Our children's church programs are designed to meet the needs of two age groups: children under 12 years old (Joshua Generation), and teens between 12 and 18 years old (Young Adult School of Prophets).

Saturday Family Days

We often spend time together on Saturdays to care for our facility and grounds. Saturday is a time to enjoy one another's company, relax with recreational activities, and take part in our worship workshops. It is also the day we prepare and eat meals together in our fellowship hall.

Biblical Celebrations

Each year, Grants Pass Community Church celebrates three special times as instructed in the Scriptures. The first of these three is the Feast of Passover, which occurs in early spring. It is the celebration of the deliverance of the children of Israel from their bondage of slavery. It is also the commemoration of the time when our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected. In late spring we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, the day when the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples as described in Acts 2. It is known by many as the birthday of Christ's Church. The Feast of Tabernacles takes place in early autumn and is a time when the Lord's family gathers together and looks forward to living in the presence of God.

Northwest Conference

This annual conference, held at our beautiful facility in the Rogue Valley, has become an anticipated time for believers throughout the Northwest and other parts of the United States. Participants come to worship, pray, and immerse themselves in the Word of the Lord. It is a time of spiritual renewal and fellowship, a time of joining hearts and creating memorable experiences. Contact us for service times and registration information for this annual Labor Day conference.

Lending Library

A lending library of Living Word literature, recorded sermons, and reference materials is available to congregants for individual study.

Special Classes

Classes are periodically offered on subjects such as finance, health, and music. Please feel free to contact us for information on upcoming classes.
